Under the patronage of HE Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al- Kuwari, the President of Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA”, 20 newly graduated students of ongoing KAHRAMAA’s scholarship program were felicitated at the eighth edition of Annual ceremony held on Tuesday at InterContinental Doha.
The new graduates successfully accomplished their courses from prestigious universities of UK, Qatar Foundation and Qatar University.
The newly passed out have studied various engineering and management courses under the scholarship program of KAHRAMAA that was initiated in 2007. Apart from the new graduates, five outstanding students were also felicitated for their awesome performance in their pursuing courses.
Speaking at the occasion, KAHRAMAA’s President HE Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al- Kuwari said
that KAHRAMAA has launched a new strategy to fulfill its mission, vision and objectives in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to transform Qatar by 2030 into an advanced society capable of sustaining its development and providing a high standard of living to all of its people under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar.
He said that the performance of our employees, our assets, our systems and procedures will become a benchmark globally in terms of performance, technical innovation, environmental sustainability and social responsibility by 2030.
He also said that KAHRAMAA is committed to play a pivotal role in the development of the Qatari citizen and to let them play an effective role in future based on their enriched knowledge.
Speaking at the occasion, Eng. Nasser Al-Mohannadi, Corporate Services Director at KAHRAMAA said we are proud of our graduates who will start their career with KAHRAMAA. The corporation is committed to continue its support through various programs aiming development of cadres ‘career and work environment.
