KAHRAMAA wins Best CSR Initiative Award

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation "KAHRAMAA" has been conferred with the Best CSR Initiative Award in the Energy sector for its ongoing National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency (Tarsheed).
The felicitation took place recently at the third Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility and Awards which was organised by Dar Al Sharq under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud Al Thani, Governor,  Qatar Central Bank (QCB), and Chairman, Sport & Social Contribution Fund (Da’am Fund). 

The award underlines its commitment to sustainability reporting and for supporting sustainability- related projects and remarkable Corporate Social Responsibility’s initiatives in Qatar and reflects KAHRAMAA’s commitment towards the implementation of economic, human, social, and environmental sustainable development as envisaged in the Qatar National Vision 2030, and the Qatar National Development Strategy 2011-2016.

The National program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency which was launched as a campaign in year 2012 under the patronage of His Highness the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al- Thani, is marching towards achieving good result. It has been achieving great progress in terms of electricity and water conservation in Qatar.

The prime target of Tarsheed is to reduce the per capita water and electricity consumption in Qatar by 35% & 20%, respectively up to 2017.

It is worth to mention that a committee of local and international arbitrators assessed reports of about 50 companies and government bodies and included five award categories in the field of environmental responsibility, business responsibility and the responsibility of dealing directly with the public and responsibility in the energy Sector which was won by KAHRAMAA.

The 991 call center uses an auto-response system to help you minimize queuing time on the phone and speak to a call center agent. You must have your electricity and water number ready to use this service.

​يعمل مركز اتصالات كهرماء لتزويدك بمعلومات عامة تتعلق بدفع فواتيرك، والتوصيلات الجديدة والحالية، ويعمل المركز على مدار الساعة للاستجابة لطوارئ الكهرباء والمياه. يمكنك الإبلاغ عن أي مشكلة أو عارض و تتبع إجراءات الاستجابة.
يطبق  مركز الاتصال 991 نظام نظام الرد التفاعلي (IVR)، ليساعدك على تقليل وقت الإنتظار على الهاتف والتحدث مع مشغل البدالة. ويجب أن يكون رقم الكهرباء والمياه في المتناول ليمكنك استخدامه أثناء الاتصال. ويعمل موظفو خدمات المشتركين في خدمتكم خلال ساعات الدوام من السبت إلى الخميس من كل أسبوع.
إتصل بـ 991، مركز الإتصال لطوارئ الكهرباء والمياه الذي يعمل 24 ساعة/ 7 أيام، على مدار الأسبوع.

أطلقت كهرماء خدمتها الجديدة والمميزة على برنامج التواصل الاجتماعي " الوتس اب" على الرقم "30303991" لتعزيز جسور التواصل بينها وبين مشتركيها، بحيث يستفاد عبر هذه الخدمة من مزايا السرعة في ارسال الملاحظات والإجراء . فقد طبقت هذه الخدمة لتساعدك في الإبلاغ عن أي مشكلة أو عارض والتقاط الصور للمشكلة وارسالها بشكل سريع.
