The role holder supports the analysis and maintenance of ERP applications to meet user requirements at KAHRAMAA. The role holder is also required to provide technical and analytical support to users on the ERP system and databases.
Strategic responsibilities:
• Develops a management strategy in line with the organization's stated and strategic priorities
• Prepare and manage the department's annual budget in conjunction with the organization's budget, secure subsequent approval, track expenditures and ensure budget adherence
• Forecast the manpower requirements of the department and develop manpower plan accordingly, in discussion with the manager and obtaining required approvals
• Defines the operating framework and policies for the department and ensures compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards
Core Responsibilities:
• Ascertain IT requirements based on the overall business strategy and develop an IT strategy to meet business needs
• Develop IT plans in line with IT and business strategy and develop a budget for IT operations in collaboration with the Corporate Services Manager
• Exploring and evaluating the feasibility of applying new technology based on Kahramaa’s business requirements
• Oversees the development and maintenance of IT policies, processes and standards in line with market best practices regarding the acquisition, development and operation of IT systems.
• Establishing KAHRAMAA IT application standards in order to ensure a strong and effective IT system to support business objectives
• Analyze and evaluate the feasibility of accommodating unplanned strategic IT requests and coordinate with the Corporate Services Manager to decide on them
• Monitor the performance of various departments within the IT department, to ensure compliance with IT strategies, legal requirements and alignment with the overall strategy
Self-management responsibilities:
• Sets goals and KPIs for each team member
• Develop talent within the team by providing guidance and support to achieve goals
• Ensures objective periodic administration of the performance appraisal process, which is complemented by ongoing coaching and training
• Follows HR policies and procedures for all aspects of people management
• Contributes to the development of Qatarization trainee programs and supports its implementation
