Description:
The role holder is responsible for effectively coordinating with directorates, departments and sections to collate all enquiries pertaining to placed orders for materials and following up for the same with the relevant suppliers in order to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Manages the timely procurement and delivery of all orders to relevant departments in order to support smooth execution of day to day operations at Kahramaa
Ensures the compliance of supplier to the conditions of the purchase order
Liaises with vendors (local, regional and international) through fax, letters, mails etc. to check the delivery status of placed orders
Takes necessary action for urgent and delayed orders by coordinating with requisite suppliers to ensure delivery of materials at the earliest
Provides periodic updates and responds to queries from respective directorates, departments and sections about delivery of material ordered and other related information
Maintains database of all daily updates and expediting follow ups in the relevant system in order to keep track of delivery status and facilitate easy retrieval of information
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, in any discipline, preferably in Materials/Supply Chain Management
Work Experience: More than 6 years of experience in a similar role of Expediting (International and Regional)
