Technician - Security Systems

Description:

The role holder is responsible for the Troubleshooting / Rectification of security systems at all of Kahramaa’s facilities. This includes technical security systems / closed-circuit television, intrusion detection and alarms, locking devices, access control and denial systems.

Core Responsibilities:

· Troubleshooting & Rectification of Security Systems (CCTV, ACS, Traffic Barrier and Other Systems)

· Undertakes random checking of all installed technical security equipment and notifies Security Inspector of any required repairs / maintenance to be done through contractors

· Daily Monitoring of Time Attendance Systems

· Coordinates with concerned regarding the shutdown of Security Systems for any maintenance activity

· Documents all equipment inspections and prepares summary reports for Officer (Industrial Security)

· Provides required technical support to Security Inspectors in the event of an emergency

· Answers alarms and investigates disturbances

· Continuous coordination with Security Central Monitoring Station for collecting the information regarding faulty Equipments / devices

· Verify with Security Central Monitoring Station regarding repaired equipment / Systems

· Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the applicable ISO certification

Qualifications:

Diploma or equivalent in Security discipline + Qatar Driving licence
More than 4 years of relevant experience in the area of security systems
