Description:
The role holder is responsible for effectively performing and managing all planning activities pertaining to water resources in order to meet the demand requirements. This will entail development of an efficient production schedule in liaison with relevant technical teams, implementation plan for approved capacity plans and development of plan pertaining to availability of resources as per schedule.
Full aware of principles of integrated water resources planning and management, ability to work and produce professional results on:
1. Water database from ongoing different water sectors,
2. Total water balance
3. Legislations and putting way forward strategy in normal and critical conditions
4. Total plan for water resources
5. Water reservoirs and piping network
6. GIS
7. Modeling of Groundwater resources
8. Water quality – water network
9. Water quality – groundwater
10. Conservation
11. Water recycling
12. Network water losses reduction
· Ensures the plan is flexible to accommodate any mid-year course corrections in schedule due to unforeseen circumstances
· Ensures effective implementation of all approved production capacity plans, in order to meet current and future demands, in compliance with Kahramaa’s set policies and strategies
· Develops relevant reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual etc.) required for analysis in order to track progress against established schedule
· Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9001 certification
· Carries out and ensures compliance of all activities within the Forecasting and Production Planning Section are in line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, post-graduate degree preferred
Minimum 8 years of experience in related speciality
