Contracts Assistant


The role holder is responsible for supporting the contracting process including activities such as identification/compilation of tender requirements, preparation of tender documents, issue of tenders, evaluation and selection of bidders and monitoring the vendor performance etc. in order to support the smooth execution of day to day operations.

Assists in preparing the necessary documentation required to initiate the contract with selected bidder in line with established legal requirements
Prepares and documents all necessary details regarding standard call-off contracts and price agreements
Maintains an updated database of all contracts and liaises with IT to enable the online monitoring of status reports for all active contracts
Coordinates with contractors regularly to ensure that they are performing their duties in line with the established agreement
Liaises with relevant technical and legal team for necessary corrective action to be taken against defaulting suppliers/ contractors
Liaises with the Finance team for release of payments to relevant contractors on approved invoices, post completion of work
Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification
Carries out and ensures compliance of all activities within the Procurement and Supplier Management Section are in line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations


High School Certification with applicable trade certificate
