​The role holder is responsible for effectively providing the necessary inputs through relevant research and analysis in developing the annual business strategy for Electricity / Water Networks. This role will ensure the electricity / water strategy is in line with the overall business strategy and integrates with overall business objectives and goals.

•  Derives the departments strategy from overall business strategy  to   ensure integration of the same in achievement of business goals
•   Develops guidelines for customer segmentation (domestic industrial etc.) and provides inputs on marketing plans for individual segments
•   Conducts necessary analysis on electricity/water demand and supply forecasts, by using forecasting techniques such as econometric, heuristic, linear regression, similar day, artificial neural network, hybrid, time series models etc.
•  Develops and defines key performance indicators to assist in tracking progress of established plans and achievement of goals
•   Conducts research to study trends on electricity/water sector, in order to provide inputs on strategy development for Kahramaa’s electricity and water projects.
