Description:
Prepares specification and scope of work for tender documents and evaluates proposals and bids submitted
Participates to the technical clarifications meetings with bidders for Electrical issues.
Carries out design review of the Electrical Part for all relevant projects
Supervises all Electrical aspects during project execution and testing
Reviews prequalification documents of contractors and equipment suppliers
Follows up on projects’ technical & contractual issues and attends inspections & tests of equipment
Attends site review and project progress meetings
Monitors safety standards implementation during projects execution
Checks for compliance to Electrical international standards
Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor
Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification
Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Renewable Energy section are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
More than 7 years of relevant experience in a similar industry or in a similar role of which minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience preferably in the area of Electrical engineering
