Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) is technically and administratively ready for Holy Month of Ramadan by preparing the electricity transmitting and distributing networks with their equipment, water pumping plants and filling tanks to ensure continuing the services for customers and to achieve the desired objectives in providing high quality of electricity and water.
Electricity Network Affairs Department has accomplished all periodic maintenance works of the main transmitting stations and substations, feeding plants and monitoring centers. It has arranges a lot of maintenance workshops to insure and promote supporting the continuity of power supply without interrupting during peak times; especially the strategic locations and some important installations in the state such as mosques in order to face any an expected increasing electrical loads due to the increasing demand for electricity. All technical teams also ready around clock for rapid interrupting by dealing with damages in short time to quickly prevent the disconnection of service.
On the other hand, Water Network Affairs has accomplished all periodic maintenance works of water pumping plants and reservoirs as well as to water transmitting and distributing networks. It also works to maintain the strategic reserved water of the state with its highest levels before summer starts. Moreover, National Water Control Center “Escada” continuously works on monitoring the network to provide water during the holy month and the technical teams at water emergency are ready around clock to face any lack of water in the state.
The Customer Services Centers will be opened during official working hours from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm where the technical teams will work jointly with the unified call center 991 around clock to receive remarks and complaints in order to provide electricity and water services with high quality and without interrupting.
In occasion of Holy Month of Ramadan, KAHRAMAA announces that Water filling reservoirs stations will work to provide customers with water according to the following schedule:

It is worth mentioning that the working hours on Friday in the Morning period will be from 6 am – 11 am, and after noon period will starts at 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm.
