KAHRAMAA in Full Readiness to Receive the Holy Month of Ramadan

Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” is all set to receive the holy month of Ramadan. All due technical and administrative procedures have been taken. Electricity transmission substations and control centers are standby. The technical and emergency teams, and call centers are ready to handle any incident during the holy month and respond to complaints around the clock.

 

KAHRAMAA has also secured surplus to meet any electricity overload that may ensued in Ramadan at any institutions due to the massive consumption in mosques in particular where demand for electricity and water noticeably increases.
Water pumping stations will work around the clock to ensure stable water supplies for customers. The water emergency teams are ready to handle any water shortage incident anywhere.

 

During Ramadan, Tanker Filling Stations (TFS) will be operated seven days a week to meet all customer needs. Al-Wakra, Al-Khor, and Al-Shahaniyah TFSs works in morning and afternoon shifts from 6.00 am to 4.00 pm. Al-Shamal,  Mesaieed and Jemiliyah TFSs works in one shift from 6.00 am to 11.00 am. Al- Sailiah and Um Salal TFSs will be operated in morning and afternoon shifts from 6.00 am to 4.00 pm and in evening shifts from 7.00 pm to midnight. On Fridays, the morning shift will be from 6.00 am to 11.00 am while the afternoon shift will be from 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

  

On this occasion, KAHRAMAA extends greetings to all customers on the holy month of Ramadan. KAHRAMAA appeals to all customer to save electricity and water.
