Ten years of analytical work experience in chemistry and / or microbiology or other closely related discipline.

Five years of demonstrated supervisory or advisory experience in drinking water testing laboratory.

Extensive knowledge and experience in drinking water quality requirement, water treatment processes, quality control, assurance and quality management system.

Well versed with principles, methods and analytical systems used in complex chemical, microbiological and physical analyses of potable water.

In depth understanding of relevant laboratory policies, ISO17025 standards and guidelines and accreditation processes.

Experienced in laboratory health and safety activities and relevant risk assessment.

Demonstrated experience in research and development projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Strong organizational, interpersonal and multitasking skills.

Fluent in English and Arabic oral and written communication skills.

Preferred member of relevant professional body like AWWA, APHA, WHO, EPA, AOAC
