Description:
The role holder is responsible for supporting all activities pertaining to auction of all obsolete/scrap items that are no more required for Kahramaa business operations in line with established guidelines. This role will also be responsible for participating in bidder evaluation process and ensuring transfer of material to successful bidder.
Assists in managing the auction and disposal of all obsolete/scrap items that are no more required for Kahramaa business operations
Liaises with all directorates, departments and sections to identify any requirements pertaining to auction of obsolete/ scrap materials and collates a list for the same
Receives and responds to allwrite-off requests and ensures compliance with auction policy and procedure
Participates in the process of providing assistance in coordinating and expediting with various directorates, departments and sections in all matters pertaining to write-off of obsolete/scrap items
Follow ups on all the write-off request forms received by Materials Department in order to classify and organize the items for auctions
Assists in preparing necessary auction documents and liaises with the Auction Committee for relevant auction number as per established requirements
Participates in the development of the auction plan and schedule in liaison with Head of Procurement and Supplier Management based on quantity of obsolete material to be auctioned
Assists in preparing the required marketing, communication and promotion material in coordination with the Public Relations team for advertising about the auction
Qualifications:
Education: High School Certification
Work Experience: More than 6 years of experience in a similar role
