Description:
The role holder is responsible for designing, coordinating and managing security systems at all of Kahramaa’s facilities. This includes technical security systems / closed-circuit television, intrusion detection and alarms, locking devices, access control and denial systems.
·Evaluates and plans technical needs of the division and assists in the preparation of the yearly budgets
· Prepares the tender scope of work & contributes in tender floating, technical evaluations, commercial evaluations, awarding & supervision of work progress
· Plans and conducts technical security assessments and recommends security upgrades to deter violations and penetration of Kahramaa facilities
· Specifies and designs security systems for standard and/or critical facilities at Kahramaa e.g. electricity and water assets and facilities
· Analyses civil and electromechanical engineering drawings to determine viable security system options
· Procures, installs and certifies all technical security products and equipment
· Reports suspicious or unusual activities captured on security systems to appropriate security personnel
· Trains security personnel on use of surveillance systems
· Reviews all investigations and audits performed by Supervisor – Maintenance
· Collects information from surveillance equipment and compiles into reports for review by Head of Security
· Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification
· Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Security Section is in-line with Kahramaa’s health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Communication Engineering preferably with Security Certification.
- More than 7 years of relevant experience preferably in the area of security systems
