Description:
Conducts field surveys and energy modeling for public buildings and facilities
Performs domestic, commercial and industrial energy audits
Develops cost, operational effective HVAC systems measures and procedures
Evaluates new technologies for HVAC systems
Gathers, analyses, interprets data related to customer HVAC systems and prepares reports on findings
Provides technical recommendation to other engineering authorities in HVAC systems design and material specifications
Develops and promotes effective HVAC systems design specifications for domestic and public facilities
Reviews KM bulk customers projects for potential energy conservation and efficiency opportunities
Coordinates with head of section to develop public information programs concerning energy conservation
Prepares technical reports and drafts regulations concerning the use of energy
Provides advice to customers in the design of efficient HVAC systems
Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor
Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification
Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Energy Efficiency section are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
More than 7 years of relevant experience in a similar industry or in a similar role of which minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience preferably in the area of civil engineering
