KAHRAMAA’s Conservation & Energy Efficiency department gets ISO

​The Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) has added another milestone in its achievements, obtaining successfully the  International accreditation of ISO 9001:2008 certificate for its Conservation & Energy Efficiency department.

The earned accolade has been felicitated as per the global standard for applying the requirements of the quality management system in all its functionalities and operations.

The certification is added to KAHRAMAA’s series of accomplishments as part of its strategy to achieve the four pillars of development enshrined in Qatar National Vision 2030 (i.e. economic, social, environmental, and human development) by complying with the highest quality standards.
It goes in line with KAHRAMAA’s mission of providing high Quality sustainable electricity and water for better living in Qatar.

The ISO 9001:2008 certification is an international standard that defines good management practices. The certification aims at providing a global standard that spells out quality and trust. 
As well, Electricity Networks Planning department has successfully obtained the  renewed accreditation of ISO 9001:2008 certificate for its. The department was prior gained ISO 9001:2008 Certification in 2011.
