Besides, children were explained about the negativity of depleting water resources and they were encouraged to use water and energy rationally.
Tarsheed, the National Program for the Conservation & Energy Efficiency, was launched under the patronage of His Highness the Heir Apparent, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani. The five-year campaign aims to increase environmental awareness and educate the public about the importance of consuming resources wisely.
Tarsheed presents a significant opportunity for organisations and individuals to join the national efforts to protect the country’s resources and reduce water and electricity consumption. Kahramaa is appealing to all Qatar’s residents to take an active role in the campaign so as to ensure Tarsheed’s success and the realisation of Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
