​Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” celebrates Qatar National Sports Day on Tuesday, 13/2/2018, by organizing array of events and sports activities at Katara, in the presence of KAHRAMAA President Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al Kuwari, directors, managers, section heads, employees and their families.

On this occasion, HE Essa Bin Hilal Al Kuwari, KAHRAMAA President, said: "Sports Day reflects the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and emphasizes the State's keenness to raise awareness and promote the concept of sport as a healthy lifestyle, since it is a practical investment in the human capital and attention to the human element". He added: "This annual gathering demonstrates the moral and intellectual refinement of the Qatari society, recognizing the importance of sport and its role in human life."

Al Kuwari emphasized that: "We in KAHRAMAA recognize the value of sport in society progress and productivity increase. We always encourage our employees to practice sports, believing in its importance as an effective way to exploit their energies in a positive way, leading to achieve the goals of the corporation. I assert that the Sports Day, which is organized every year by the corporation, witnesses the practice of sport and various activities, reflecting the wise vision of our wise government".
