Within framework of its social responsibility, Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA”, represented in Conservation & Energy efficiency Department and through National Program “Tarsheed”, has organized a celebration to honor the Corporation’s labors; appreciating their important role in achieving strategic objectives of the Corporation. The celebration has been organized in collaboration with Siemens Global Company to emphasizes KAHRAMAA’s interest and keenness of labors’ rights.
Labors have been participated in the events and sport activities established in outdoor area of KAHRAMAA Awareness Park. The organizers, in cooperation with “Your Health First” Program, have distributed healthy meals provided via Qatar National Center for Conferences. Labors also got some encouraging gifts from Siemens Company and Tarsheed.
Within its constant efforts to attain its strategic objectives and ensure a safe and healthy working environment, KAHRAMAA cares of its labors via the National Program for conservation, where it works to connect conservation with labors’ proper behaviors towards environmental materials to achieve sustainable development. Moreover, KAHRAMAA has arranged this amusement event for labors appreciating and thanking them for their great role in economic growth and attaining national development of the state.
it is worth mentioning that KAHRAMAA has honored the working team consisted from contractors, consultants, and employees of the corporation, who participated in achieving 38,000,000 Safe Man-hours Worked without Loss Time Injury in the first quarter of 2017. KAHRAMAA also believes in labors’ role in developing corporations’ projects in the state in order to attain sustainable objectives that cope with the National Vision 2030 as well as achieve Tarsheed’s slogan (Keep Qatar Pulsing).
